BURKE HOUSE

Milton, MA

This home integrates open single level accessible living with energy efficiency, and craftsmanship. Drawing inspiration from Frank Lloyd Wright’s Prairie style, this home layers deep roof lines, natural light, and a balance between open accessible living spaces, privacy, and guest space.

The open kitchen includes clerestory windows that create an uplifting feeling, with a costume wood floating light grid providing a warm and grounding layer below.

Wrap-around porches provide a welcome front entry and embrace the rear courtyard, providing a porous indoor/outdoor living space.
